We have a solid industrial nucleus and have an excellent location, with several major East-West and North-South highways, which include the Ohio Turnpike.

Recreational facilities include our municipal swimming pool featuring a 150 foot waterslide and multiple challenging 18-hole golf courses located within a fifteen-mile radius of Montpelier.

We have  the Williams County Historical Museum located in the Village just inside the Williams County Fairgrounds. The Village of Montpelier plays host to The Williams County Fair every year in September.
