Electric

The Electric Department’s six person crew provides the Village residents with reliable electricity.

Fire Department

The Fire Department’s primary mission is to protect the lives and property of the citizens of Montpelier.

Parks & Recreation

The 30 acres of the of the Municipal Park include various athletic fields & courts, the public pool, and Louden Cemetery.

Police Department

The Montpelier Police Department is a full-service, 24-hour operation that handles complaints, investigations, and numerous community services.

Street Department

The Street Department is responsible for many different services, including Snow Removal, Mowing Village Property, and Patching Potholes.

Waste Water Treatment

This system has 10 major pumping stations and one vacuum station in the service area ranging from 50 to 1000 gpm.

Water & Sewer Distribution

This department’s five person crew is in charge of the operation and maintenance of water distributions, sanitary sewer collection, and storm drainage systems.

Water Treatment

The plant is operated by two licensed employees, who work to provide fresh water to the Village of Montpelier.
