The Electric Department’s four person crew provides the village residents with reliable electricity. The village has three interconnections with supply transmission lines to provide the village’s load requirements. Six generators can be operated during peak demand periods to keep our purchase power costs down. Electricity can be dangerous, please be careful!

The Village of Montpelier is also a participant in AMP-Ohio’s Joint Venture 6 which is the wind turbine site located in Bowling Green, Ohio.
