Jason Rockey

Jason is responsible for the administration of all Municipal affairs placed in the Manager’s charge by Village Charter and Council.  He oversees all eight departments and manages the day-to-day operations of the village.  It is also Jason’s responsibility to see that all laws, provisions of the Village Charter and acts of Council are faithfully executed.  Jason arranges contracts, franchises and agreements and signs all contracts, bonds and notes on behalf of the Municipality.  He sits on various boards and commissions as well as assists in the preparation of the Village’s annual budget and capital programs.  Jason is in close contact with the Director of Finance, Mayor and Council to ensure that the Village and its operations continue to represent the best interests of the citizens of Montpelier.
