REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
REPLACE FILTER MEDIA

The Village of Montpelier is accepting Proposals from firms and/or prequalified individuals for replacing filter media in (2) gravity filters at our water treatment plant.

Project Description:  The Village of Montpelier will remove the existing filter media and have the  filters cleaned and ready for work.  The project would consist of inspecting the filters and equipment to make sure everything is still in good working condition.  After inspecting filters, you would then replace filter media with material approved by the Ohio EPA and disinfect the filters and media following AWWA guidelines from section 4.4.3 of Standard C653-20.  The Village of Montpelier will collect and run all coliform samples needed.

Deadline:  Proposals must be received by 2 PM local time on June 19, 2026.  Proposals can be emailed to wtp@montpelieroh.org or mailed to
